Claire's pop up petit cabaret presents Ashleigh Rubenach

Musical Theatre darling Ashleigh Rubenach returns to Claire’s for an intimate evening of festive food and music. A Channel 7 Carols in the Domain regular, Ashleigh is thrilled to share her favourite Christmas carols and bring in the holiday season the only way she knows how.

Bio:

Sydney-born Ashleigh most notably starred as Allison in Cry-Baby (Hayes Theatre Co/LPD), for which she received the Judith Johnson Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical at the Sydney Theatre Awards. A graduate of WAAPA, Ashleigh has appeared in Anything Goes and My Fair Lady (GFO/OA), Funny Girl (SSO), and The Sound of Music (GFO) in which she understudied and performed the role of ‘Maria’.  A Talent Development Project alumni, Ashleigh made her New York City debut as a recipient of the Bound for Broadway Scholarship, returning to the USA the following year to headline a televised concert for ASCAP's Broadway Tomorrow series at the Kennedy Centre (Washington, DC).  She was a Top 6 Finalist of the Rob Guest Endowment, winning the Melbourne East End Theatre District Award. Most recently, Ashleigh toured with Muriel’s Wedding: The Musical (Global Creatures) as the understudy for ‘Muriel Heslop’.
